I liked making from a child's time and my independent spirit (I want to
do anything by myself) was strong. However, in the company, I had much
paper work. Moreover, work was very division-of-work-like. I was not interesting.
The environmental problem was cried for at the time. A furniture maker
uses wood in large quantities. For example, lauan used for plywood. The
teak and mahogany of high rank material. These are cut down, and tropical
rain forests disappear and go. Although it was indirect, it became disagreeable
at our working that they are destroyed.
Young I resigned from the company. However, I was not immediately able
to do it at all. I had the idea of making furniture from construction scrap
wood. However, I had neither technology nor a place. I was in the high
technical special school, and studied woodwork's fundamental technology.
I checked the thing important for myself. For me, living is making. Making
is self-expression. I am the human being who cannot live without making.
And I also keenly realized that it could not stop my drinking alcohol.
